Job Description

The Centre for Exoplanet Sciences seeks a summer intern to assist with a programme of research which aims to understand the nature and origin of atmospheric gases and clouds on Venus. The student will compile data from the literature and filter these data using a filtering system developed with the research team.

The student will work under the mentorship of Dr Sami Mikhail (School of Earth & Environmental Science) in collaboration with Dr Peter Woitke (School of Physics & Astronomy) and PhD student Oliver Herbort. We can provide support for this role in the form of £120 pw for up to 8 weeks. Dates are negotiable, but this work must be conducted over the summer.

Person Specification
