The successful candidate will participate in the definition, design and analysis of robotics, software components and systems, as well as supporting the integration of robotic software and hardware components. The role will include whole product life-cycle development from understanding complex customer requirements through to designing new components, validation and verification. Most tasks will be research and development and this is an excellent opportunity to learn about the cutting edge in robotics, AI and space exploration and grow professionally. Right now we are looking for someone willing to focus on software development.
The role will include simulator building, tailoring and set-up, the development of components for complex distributed simulations, development of AI components, as well as supporting the field testing of robotic systems. Travel may be required as part of the role. Working in a team will be part of the role. Conducting research and writing reports and papers is part of this role.

- Academic degree in Software / Robotics / Mechatronics / Electromechanical / Aerospace Engineering / Space Systems Engineering or similarly related Engineering
- Advanced level with at least one of the following programming languages: Python, C++, MATLAB / Simulink, Julia
- Software or Systems Engineering
- Space Exploration
