 About the role 

You will be working with a fast paced Remote Sensing team, contributing directly to the digitisation of imagery and various project-related technical tasks. The successful applicant will be based in our Bristol office, and meet the requirements listed below. 

Person Specification

The Ideal Candidate will have / be responsible for:

• Technical background with a bachelor's degree in a relevant subject, for example Geography, Environmental Management, GIS, Remote Sensing, Geophysics, Hydrography; 

• Demonstrable experience in the use of GIS Software packages such as ArcPro/ArcMap version 10.1 onwards, and/or QGIS; 

• Familiarity with aerial / satellite imagery with Photoshop related experience; 

• Ability to work well as part of a dynamic fast paced team, whilst being able to carry out tasks independently where required; 

• Ability to demonstrate consistently excellent attention to detail; 

• Ability to submit work on time to a high-quality standard; 

• Demonstrable experience in the use of Remote Sensing Software packages; 

• Understanding of cartographic principles, including generalisation; 

• Knowledge of common coding languages such as R, Arcpy, Python; 

• Knowledge of spatial data management with experience handling large volumes of data; 

• Commercial experience; 

• Excellent communication skills; 

• Problem solving mindset; 

• Responsible for data processing; 

• Responsible for quality assurance.
