To support our work we are looking for a talented, ambitious and motivated Project Manager.  Working alongside other Project Managers, you will be responsible to ensuring projects are performed to time and on budget.  You will be working with our team on cutting edge GNSS developments for clients including UK government, commercial companies and space organisations such as the European Space Agency.

The role is to carry out the management of multiple projects, all involved with technical navigation, position and timing solutions within the space industry:

  • Creating, maintaining and, where necessary, revising project work and temporal plans.
  • Identifying resources that needed, requesting resources and helping to assign tasks
  • Identifying project risks, proposing and identifying mitigations
  • Being responsible for the projects’ deliverable documents, ensuring that they are coherent, appropriate and adhere to company quality standards
  • Schedule, arrange, prepare for and chair project meetings, both internally with the technical team and externally with clients
  • Ensuring all project information is maintained and stored appropriately
  • Prioritising between and within projects
  • Tracking and managing project costs
  • Ensuring deadlines are met on time and within budget and that invoices are issued to plan
  • Maintaining key relationships with clients, partnering companies, suppliers, the technical team and the senior management team

  • Project management
  • Agile methodologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in management/ project management or related studies
  • An understanding of different project management methodologies
  • An understanding and experience using project management tools
  • advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Project, Powerpoint and Excel)
  • experience working as a project manager in a technical company (1+ year)
  • understand different technical concepts
  • experience working with government (UK/EU) and/or space industry desirable
