Based at Harwell Campus our site has world-class facilities and capabilities in the areas of RF, mechanical, thermal, and structural dynamics analysis and design, combined with the largest clean room on campus.
Do you have what it takes to join our team of technicians and manufacture novel antenna products?
As a technician you will be responsible for assembling and testing of flight hardware, along with supporting engineers in both R&D and Operations with product assembly and qualification. Also inspecting machined parts, as well as supporting our Product Assurance Manager in defining and writing qualified MAIT processes. You will report to the MAIT Manager and be part of a small team.

Ideally you will be apprentice trained within a mechanical discipline combined with excellent experience in the assembly of precision components, as well as having excellent engineering knowledge. You will have proven experience using metrology equipment as well as comprehensive knowledge of detailed drawings, surface finishes, tolerances, and materials. You will also have a background in the space industry, be an excellent communicator and be comfortable working alone as well as part of a team.
