About The Role

Within our Space team, we are currently recruiting for an Orbital Analyst who will work as a technical liaison and key member the Commercial integration Cell (CIC) based in the UK Space Operations Centre (UK SpOC) at RAF High Wycombe. Working as the key point of contact for all Commercial Satellite Owner/Operator and Service Provider CIC Members, the successful candidate will be integrated within the UK SpOC team and look to develop a thorough understanding of the UK MOD space-derived services (such as SATCOM, imagery, geo-information, etc.).

What we are looking for

This is a unique opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for everything space! We’re looking for someone who is technically minded, who has preferably (but not essential) gained knowledge and experience within a similar role, while ideally holding a relevant STEM degree within a relevant field (Physics, Orbital Mechanics, Astrophysics, Mathematics, Engineering, Space related etc.). Training will be provided and will take place over a 3-6 month period with our team at RAF Fylingdales in North Yorkshire. Due to the remote location of RAF Fylingdales public transport is not available. SC and DV clearance is also required but applicants without the required level of security clearance will be able to commence training whilst simultaneously submitting their SC/DV application.
