This role requires a proactive individual who will be capable of deriving the test strategy, analysing and understanding the requirements and design in order to plan, manage and deliver all aspects of the testing activities associated to the programme of work.This role will have a client facing aspect, with responsibility for Client Deliverable documents and attending / leading testing related meetings with the Client.ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will have a track record in the following:• Performing analysis of Requirements and Design to: - Understand what testing activities are required to verify the requirements; - Produce estimates for the testing to be performed; - Identifying test tools required to support the identified testing activities;• Managing and deliver the: - Designing and Writing of Test Plans; - Creating and reviewing of Test Documentation; - Designing and Writing of detailed Test Cases; - Designing and Writing of detailed Test Scripts; - Creating of weekly progress metrics; - Generation of requirements traceability evidence;• Managing and Leading the integration of the components delivered from the development teams.• Performing integration and test activities in accordance with the agreed plans, specifications and descriptions / scripts. This will include executing test scripts, recording results and storing evidence. • Maintaining the Leatherhead testing environment, including Identifying and set up of test data and simulators;• Delivery of test documentation to the Client;• Attending / leading test milestone meetings with the Client;• Identifying staffing needs, interviewing and mentoring the members of the test team.• Manage and lead the day-to-day activities of the test team;• Interact with other programme disciplines (i.e. DA Team, Development Team, PA, Safety) ;• Working in accordance with defined project processes and procedures; • Providing regular progress reporting to the management team;• Provide inputs in to the Client Progress Report.• Track record of the full software lifecycle, especially the test lifecycle;• Track record of using test tools;• Track record in writing test cases and test scripts;• Track record in writing client deliverable documents;• Track record of managing test teams sized 1 – 6 people, including producing plans and documentation;• Ability to work within a programme team and directly with the client.Our working approach is built around our client’s needs.
