Job Description

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer you will be involved in the design of lightweight, reliable, low cost and stowage efficient deployable structures and mechanisms to enable successful antenna deployment and operations from space. 

You will work alongside RF and Mechanical Engineers within the Operations Team and will report directly to the Programme Manager. 

In your role as a Senior Mechanical Engineer you will be part of a team developing deployable antennas for space applications ranging from Internet of Things to Synthetic Aperture Radar, from LEO to planetary missions, from small cubesats to large satellite platforms.

Person Specification

You will need a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Aerospace engineering or a related discipline (eg Physics), combined with the right level and type of experience. 

You need to demonstrate previous engineering leadership experience at a senior technical level and possess a proven track record of delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects, ideally in a high regulated industry such as Space, Nuclear, Aerospace, or Automotive sectors.
